Configuration Guide
General Settings
Visual theme, scores per page, ABC editor line-wrap width, chords per bar, preferred MIDI instrument, and the repository's sort direction all live here and apply everywhere in the app. Changes save automatically a couple of seconds after you stop editing, and are kept on the server rather than in this browser — so your theme, instrument and layout choices follow you to any device you sign in from, free account or subscriber alike. Your musician profile, instruments, bands and courses are not here: they live on the Musician page, reached from your avatar in the header.
Data Safety (free accounts)
Free accounts keep their music only in this browser's local storage — there is no off-device copy, and it can be permanently lost if browsing data is cleared, the device or browser changes, or storage is reclaimed under disk pressure. Subscribing moves your repository to permanent, off-device server storage with nothing to configure.
Tablature Options
Controls how tablature is laid out when a tablature instrument is active on a score: how many measures per line, which side the toolbox sits on, and whether the computed tab appears above or below the standard notation.
Supporter tier (subscribers)
Supporter is everything a Cloud subscription gives you, at a higher price, for musicians who want to help keep the project going — the number of places is deliberately limited. If you are on one plan you can switch to the other from here; the change goes through your payment provider and can take a moment to show up.
Subscription (subscribers)
Subscriber accounts see an Unsubscribe option here. Downgrading is permanent from this screen: it downloads a backup of your repository first, then switches your account to free — you'll re-import that backup the first time you log back in. You lose media attachments and version history on downgrade, so read the warnings before confirming.
